When the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo (FWSSR) comes to town - it’s time to show up and show out. From bucking bulls, and longline furs- we want to make sure you feel rodeo ready at the FWSSR! This season's trends lean along the lines of class and sophistication with a western flair.

Sheer/ Organza Tops:

This new trend can be paired with a multitude of outfits adding a twist to traditional western attire. Instead of a traditional button down, opt-in to the sheer top trend layered over a matching cami, your favorite turquoise jewelry, maxi skirt or denim trouser. Easily paired with items already in your closet!

Ralph Lauren Aesthetic:

The cowboys did it first - but belt buckles are on the Runway. Ralph Lauren has consistently introduced western elements into their recent lines and we are loving it. Blazers, leather belts, silk scarves, long skirts and leather bags can be paired perfectly with your cowgirl boots. Ralph Lauren tends to lean on the warmer tones, colors, and neutrals. The best part? It can all be matched with denim.

Fur:

We can’t forget something to keep you warm - bring a jacket! A fur jacket is the perfect accessory to a pair with skinny jeans, boots, a sweater and a cowboy hat. Simply elevated elegance.

Monochromatic Looks:

Fashion doesn’t always have to be hard. Winter White Jeans paired with a white top, or a black dress and black blazer are trends we have seen this fall. Some bolder approaches include wearing all red, green or even blue. These colors do not always have to match exactly - but can be within the same family. Pairing all one solid color together, add a belt topped with your cowgirl hat to create a fashion-forward western look.

Denim on Denim:

One of the easiest trends we are seeing is a good ol’ Canadian tuxedo. Denim on denim has taken the runway by storm. Denim tops, jackets, vests, dresses and even denim heels have quickly become a prominent style. Quite simply- it’s an easy and sophisticated look that can be dressed up or dressed down.

Mixed metals:

Layered jewelry that mixes silver, gold and turquoise has been a unique spin in western fashion from previous years. Typically we see more silver looks but gold has been inching its way into western fashion combining the two together. Try layering jewelry over a white button down to add a little sparkle!

Whatever your style, or whatever you wear  - you are a welcomed rodeo fan!
