JULY 4

Fort Worth’s Fourth at Panther Island Pavilion 

Fort Worth’s Fourth has been a cherished local tradition for 18 years. The family-friendly event returns to Panther Island this year for an unforgettable evening and night of waterfront views, family fun, and explosive fireworks. Highlights include performances by Metalshop and The Rock Band from the U.S. Air Force Bands and an incredible fireworks show along the banks of the Trinity River. Gates open at 5 pm and admission is free. 

July 11

Matthew Banks Performs at Scat Jazz Lounge

Matthew Banks brings early jazz to life with a focus on swing, bebop, and blues from the 1930s and ’40s. Playing clarinet, saxophone, and bassoon, he uses vintage instruments to capture the raw sound of the era with a style that is tight, expressive, and rooted in tradition. See this local multi-instrumentalist at Fort Worth’s iconic jazz club this month. 

July 15-20

Performing Arts Fort Worth Presents The Wiz

The Tony Award-winning musical that redefined Broadway is back. The Wiz returns to the stage for the first time in 40 years, bringing its electrifying blend of soul, gospel, funk, and dance to Bass Hall in mid-July. This all-new production breathes fresh life into Dorothy’s journey through Oz with a powerhouse creative team, bold choreography, and a dazzling, all-Black cast. From the classic “Ease on Down the Road” to the emotional ballad “Home,” the show delivers nonstop energy and iconic music.

July 18

Bri Bagwell Performs at Billy Bob’s Texas

Catch Bri Bagwell’s bold, boot-stomping country sound at Billy Bob’s Texas on July 18. Known for her powerhouse vocals and fearless stage presence, Bagwell has earned multiple Female Vocalist of the Year awards and stacked up a dozen No. 1 hits on Texas radio. Her music blends raw emotion with sharp lyrics and a rock edge that sets her apart.

Jack Ingram Performs at The Post 

Jack Ingram brings his signature Texas sound to The Post in Fort Worth for an acoustic set later this month. With a career spanning three decades, Ingram is known for hits like “Wherever You Are” and his gritty, honest songwriting. This stripped-down show offers fans a chance to hear him up close in an intimate venue.

Maye Performs at Tulips FTW

Later this month, Maye steps onto the Tulips FTW stage with her popular sound that drifts between Latin pop, bolero, and indie soul. Her bilingual lyrics and airy vocals create a mood that’s both nostalgic and fresh. Songs like “Tú” have earned her millions of streams and a growing cult following. Expect a night of intimate, slow-burn songs from one of Latin music’s most intriguing new voices.

The Elton Johns Perform at Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall

Mark your calendars. The ultimate Elton John tribute band is coming to Tannahill’s Music Hall this month, covering The Rocket Man’s biggest songs with a full band. The setup at Fort Worth’s premier live music venue makes it easy to grab dinner, catch the show, and stay out late for a fun Friday night in Fort Worth.
