MJ: The Musical at Bass Performance Hall

Experience the Fort Worth premiere of MJ, the Tony Award-winning musical centered on Michael Jackson’s 1992 Dangerous World Tour. This high-energy Broadway production weaves Jackson’s iconic music with dazzling choreography and behind-the-scenes storytelling. From “Billie Jean” to “Man in the Mirror,” the show celebrates one of pop’s most influential artists in unforgettable fashion.

MAY 21 – JUNE 7

The Van Cliburn International Piano Competition Returns to Fort Worth

The world’s most prestigious piano competition is back. From May 21 to June 7, the Seventeenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition brings 30 elite pianists to Fort Worth for a three-week showcase of artistry, stamina, and brilliance. The preliminary and quarterfinal rounds take place at Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU, while the semifinals and finals will be held at Bass Performance Hall. The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Carlos Miguel Prieto and Marin Alsop, joins the semifinalists and finalists on stage.

White Denim with Nolan Potter’s Nightmare Band at Tulips FTW

White Denim rolls into Tulips for a night of genre-bending rock, razor-sharp musicianship, and no-frills stage magic. Known for their restless creativity and Austin roots, the band blends psych, jazz, and classic rock into a sound that’s entirely their own. Creed Fisher at Billy Bob’s Texas

Creed Fisher brings outlaw grit and West Texas fire to the world’s largest honky-tonk later this May. Known for his unfiltered lyrics and working-class patriotism, Fisher channels hard-won life experience into every verse. From playing pro football to racking up millions of streams, he’s carved his path with steel-toed boots and stubborn resolve. Jazz on the Trinity at Panther Island Pavilion

May closes out with a showstopper at Panther Island Pavilion.
