Trout Fishing in America at Southside Preservation Hall


Trout Fishing in America, the dynamic duo of Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet, has captivated audiences for nearly 50 years. The FWSO Performs Schumann’s Cello Concerto and Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique


Principal cellist Allan Steele performs as soloist for Schumann’s lyrical cello concerto in a concert that also features Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique, which is widely regarded as the first significant symphonic poem. FWSO Music Director Robert Spano leads the orchestra in the concert that also includes Debussy’s enchanting Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun.

Cliburn Concerts Presents Joseph Parrish


The Cliburn presents bass-baritone Joseph Parrish this month at Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall. The musician is critically acclaimed for his rich, warm voice and impeccable technique. Sierra Hull Performs at Tulips FTW


Sierra Hull is a master mandolinist and two-time Grammy-nominated artist. Recognized for her albums 25 Trips and Weighted Mind, she is the first woman to win IBMA’s Mandolin Player of the Year award four times. Hull has performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, the Grand Ole Opry, and the White House. Her bluegrass roots and inventive style make her a standout in the genre. Stage West Presents What the Constitution Means to Me


Stage West brings the regional premiere of What the Constitution Means to Me to Fort Worth. The play which was a Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony Award nominee for Best Play follows high schooler Heidi, a civic-minded young woman who put herself through college by winning debates about the Constitution. She later reflects on her teenage years and the impact America’s founding document had on her adolescent years. The interactive play builds to a lively debate that is decided by “We the People.”

The Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth Presents the Dover Quartet


The Dover Quartet, in collaboration with the Curtis Institute of Music as the Penelope P. Watkins Ensemble in Residence, presents an exciting program including Jessie Montgomery’s “Strum.” Antonin Dvořák’s Quartet in F major. Experience the Dover Quartet’s return featuring a new work by Emmy-winning Chickasaw composer Jerod Impichchaachaaha’ Tate, praised by the New York Times as “rich, provocative and moving.”
