Come out for three days of PBR fun with the Texas Rattlers! Fort Worth’s own PBR team will host the return of Rattler Days, with a fan festival, parade, a chance to meet your favorite rodeo athletes, and, of course, the best in PBR action!
Rattler Days Alley Rally, presented by Community Coffee, will be a fan festival during the team’s Rattler Days homestand, which welcomes the nine other teams of the PBR Teams League. Experience Rattler Nation through this vibrant celebration of PBR culture and spirit in Fort Worth.
Over three days, September 26-28, you can take part in the community of this unique, impressive sport while spending time in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Each day will feature a different theme throughout the celebration, from the dirt in the arena to the brick streets of E. Exchange Ave.
Thursday, September 26: Championing Fort Worth
Fort Worth Stockyards & Cowtown Coliseum
The first day of the festival will feature a “Championing Fort Worth” theme. The Rattlers will debut city jerseys that pay homage to Fort Worth’s “Panther City” nickname. Once dubbed by a Dallas columnist such a sleepy city that even a panther could nap on Main Street, Fort Worth embraced the symbol of the panther as an emblem of hope and strength.
In the afternoon, don’t miss the unique and delicious cooking competition Rattle Battle. Presented by TX Whiskey and hosted by Chef Tim Love, see and taste the creations of area chefs as they compete for best rattlesnake dish.
Night one PBR action begins at 7:45pm at Cowtown Coliseum. Doors open at 6:15.
Friday, September 27: Protect Our Dirt
Fort Worth Stockyards & Dickies Arena
The Rattlers invite the entire city to Dickies Arena for the final iteration of the 2024 Texas Cup. The Rattlers will attempt to “protect our dirt” as they face off against their home state rivals, the Austin Gamblers. This marks the first time this season that the Rattlers are back at Dickies Arena, where they fight to remain the only team undefeated on home dirt since the league’s 2022 founding. The event will begin at 7:45, doors open at 6:15.
Before the showdown at Dickies, enjoy an afternoon in the Stockyards with live music by Cowtown Gamblers on the Cowtown Coliseum Lawn.
Saturday, September 28: Championship Saturday
Fort Worth Stockyards & Dickies Arena
Saturday is for champions! The third day will be a celebration of the Rattlers’ 2023 World Championship victory. Start the day off at Cowtown Coliseum for a pancake breakfast that benefits Arlington Heights High School and Arlington High School FFA Youth Programs. A $5 donation is requested.
Then enjoy the Rattler Days Parade throughout the Fort Worth Stockyards, where you’ll see your favorite Rattler athletes. Afterwards, the team will head to the Ariat Brand Store to take pictures and sign autographs, giving fans the opportunity to meet these elite athletes before they take the stage for their final night of competition. The afternoon will have live music by the Monty Dawson Band on the Cowtown Coliseum Lawn and a special Rattler Days College Football Tailgate.
For the third and final night of Rattler Days, head to Dickies Arena to celebrate the Rattlers’ triumph as the only professional team to bring a World Championship home to Fort Worth.
