Arts Fifth Avenue invites you to join them for their 16th Annual Celebration of Dia de los Muertos. This bilingual family event is open to the public and includes activities for all ages. A community Ofrenda (alter) will be constructed and everyone is invited to add something in memory of a lost loved one - a favorite candy bar, a drink, a copy of a photograph, a flower, the title of a song, a scented note…

Workshops and art stations for Papel Picado (paper cutting), Paper Flower Making, Calaveras (skull) Drawing & Decorating, Face-painting, and a special workshop in Tamale Making 101: Oaxacan Style with Gracey Tune.
ENTERTAINMENT & SHARING OF THE FEAST: 5 to 7 pm
Sharing of traditional foods. Everyone is encouraged to bring the favorite dish of a departed loved one to add to the feast.
