There will be plenty of paranormal activity at the second annual Fort Worth Library Author Series, beginning in September. The library welcomes four popular authors who will walk us down the path they take when writing their fictional favorites. You are sure to leave with some memorable tales.

Behold this Dreamer! : Garth discusses his writing process for his new novel, A Sudden Light, including his research into Transcendentalism, the conservation movement, Spiritualism and his own spiritual epiphany when his dead father visited Garth in his dreams—an experience that greatly changed the trajectory of the novel. Garth will also talk about magical realism and spiritual elements of his other works, specifically Raven Stole the Moon and The Art of Racing in the Rain.

So make a point to join us for any and all of the above Wordslingers visits. You’ll get to meet face-to-face with some of your favorite writers, hear about their amazing life experiences, and get valuable advice on penning a book of your own.

We would like to thank the The Friends of the Fort Worth Public Library, Inc for its generous support of this series.
