A tour highlighting the work of four of the Leading Architects in three World Class Museums. -The Amon Carter Museum of American Art designed by Philip Johnson, -The Kimbell Art Museum designed by Louis Kahn and Renzo Piano, and -The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth designed by Tadao Ando. The hour and a half walking tour focuses on how each architect responds uniquely to the challenges of the Fort Worth environment and landscape while providing shelter to artworks and visitors - an oasis of art. Tours leave from the steps of the Amon Carter Museum of American Art (3503 Camp Bowie Blvd.) every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 2:00.
