The La Plaza Building was constructed in 1911 and was called the Exhibit Building. This building was an exhibit hall for farm implements. Later the building was used by Frank Kent Cadillac and during WWII by Lockheed Martin. The great Flood of Fort Worth washed away one half of the Building leaving it the size it is today. During the Viet Nam era, the building was also used by Bell Helicopter and was finally restored as a Retail establishment in the mid 1980’s. Not only does our building have great Vendors we also have The Bluebonnet Room and The Rawhide Room. Our banquet facilities range in size and accompany 80 to 250 of your best friends with prices starting at the Blue Bonnet Room for $800 to $1,200 per day; and prices starting at The Rawhide Room for $200 to $500 per day.
