At an early age, he began to experiment with film, and was producing documentaries and shorts while still in high school. Before the age of 20, Logan was working out of his home, producing music videos and short films which garnered local acclaim. In 2002, Logan was hired by Dallas/Fort Worth based NBC, where he gained experience with broadcast video, shooting commercial spots, and directing live broadcasts for special events. In spite of a promising career with the corporation, Logan felt the pull of working independently as a director. In 2003, while still working at NBC, Logan started Under the Tower Productions, which allowed him to focus on films and documentaries that emotionally engage viewers with compelling, authentic stories. In 2006, he mixed and mastered the sound design for the movie White Powder, and in 2008 the short film A Part. With his extensive experience in media and video production, Logan wrote, produced and directed the documentary, The Rose: A Sense of Place, which won the 2009 Telly award. Under the Tower Productions is currently producing two documentary films: West Lincoln, a high school murder drama based on a true story, and Skylines of Texas, a planetarium film that will showcase Texas topographical history and project HEDTEX based at McDonald Observatory.
