The Fort Worth Young Women's Leadership Academy and Visit Fort Worth partnered to produce a three-episode video series spotlighting students alongside local women leaders in hospitality and creative arts.

Three students were selected to meet and shadow professionals: Loft22 Cakes Pastry Chef Tareka Lofton, American Airlines’ Chief Customer Officer Alison Taylor and local artist Michelle Cortez Gonzales. The mini-series was directed by female filmmaker Candace Cooper of Westsider Media and featured music by local musician Lorena Leigh.

The videos were produced as part of Visit Fort Worth’s on-going efforts to highlight women leaders who support tourism and the visitor experience. Visit Fort Worth will incorporate the videos in various marketing campaigns and plans to promote them to convention customers at conferences such as IMEX and PCMA.
