FORT WORTH NATURE CENTER AND REFUGE

Spanning more than 3,600 acres, the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge is one of the largest city-owned nature centers in the United States. It gives you the opportunity to get outdoors and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of north central Texas, from forests to prairies to wetlands. The center offers a wide variety of education programs led by naturalists who are eager to share their knowledge. You can also go on organized nature hikes, evening strolls and kayak tours.
