Bus Service


The Fort Worth Transportation Authority, known locally as The T, provides bus transportation to the city's rich variety of entertainment and historical attractions including the Stockyards National Historic District, the Fort Worth Cultural District and downtown/Sundance Square.

The Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) provides bus service throughout the city of Fort Worth. You can ride for free in The T's Downtown Free Zone. The Free Zone includes all of the central business district, bounded on the south by Lancaster Avenue, west by Henderson Street, north by Belknap and east by Jones Street.

Special Event Routes. Did you know that the T also runs for a number of large events and happenings. It allows you to skip the hassle of fighting traffic, expensive parking costs and long walks to your event. Be sure to check out the below special event routes:

  • Cowboys Coach. Catch the T's Cowboys Coach shuttle from downtown Fort Worth to Cowboys Stadium during all regular season games, playoff games and scheduled college games. MORE

  • TCU Football Games. The T's Cowboys Coach shuttle also runs from downtown Fort Worth to TCU's Amon G. Carter Stadium for five scheduled home games. MORE

  • Safari Shuttle to the Fort Worth Zoo. The Safari Shuttle leaves on the hour and 1/2 hour from the ITC rail station at 1001 Jones St., downtown. Board the shuttle to the Fort Worth Zoo at "Bus Bay A" at the ITC. Returning to the ITC is simple -board where you got off. Return trips from the Zoo board every 30 minutes (see scheduled times below). MORE
