Our Mission:
The Fort Worth Sports Commission enhances the image, economy and quality of life for the community through the power of sports. We pursue high-profile events that bring national exposure to Fort Worth while driving thousands of athletes, coaches and fans to our great city.
Looking ahead, we are preparing for an incredible line-up of events in 2026 including: ACES, NCAA Women’s Basketball, USA Karate, FEI World Cup, NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championship, Esports tournaments, and three winter cheerleading championships produced by Varsity, and FIFA World Cup 2026 Dallas™ at Dallas Stadium.

Community:
In 2019, the Fort Worth Sports Commission teamed up with the NCAA Readers Become Leaders program and the Fort Worth ISD to implement the program in grades PreK – 5 as part of the NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships hosted in Fort Worth. In six years, the program has seen more than 158,000 students read more than 230 million minutes. The program is back again this year and the incentives and benefits to the students and participating schools have never been better.
