DAY ONE

Start your day along the Trinity Trails. The trailhead begins near The Shops at Clearfork, where you’ll also find a buzzy farmers’ market every Saturday morning. Hop on one of the 300-plus Trek bicycles from a Fort Worth Bike Share location and peddle down the trails as you enjoy the river views. After, have brunch at Press Café, known for its stylish yet casual ambience and brunch favorites like avocado toast, breakfast burritos and rise & shine waffle.

Walk off your brunch while you shop at The Shops at Clearfork. The center’s 40+ retails stores include a nice blend of luxury and mainstream shops that include Nieman Marcus, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany’s, Luke’s Locker, Francesca’s and Tommy Bahama.

Channel your inner cowgirl at the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Participate in the Fort Worth Herd Experience, which gives viewers a chance to interact with the Drovers while they demonstrate tools used during the cattle drive era. Then see it all come to life during the world’s only twice-daily cattle drive. Book a horseback riding excursion and get in the saddle yourself as you traverse landscape from the Chisolm Trail to the banks of the Trinity River. If you’re not feeling that ambitious, stroll through Mule Alley for shopping and one-of-a-kind Texas bars and restaurants.

Head to nearby Atico, Chef Tim Love’s tapas bar, on the roof of Springhill Suites, for a drink as the sun goes down over the Stockyards. Have dinner at 97 West Kitchen & Bar in the Hotel Drover, a Marriott Autograph Collection resort. The restaurant features inventive Texas-style dishes, craft cocktails from local distilleries, cold beers and fine wines. Or enjoy delicious Mexican cuisine in a festive atmosphere at Joe T. Garcia’s, a Fort Worth institution since 1935.

For live entertainment, catch a show at Tannahill’s Tavern where the menu is as impressive as its live performances. Or venture downtown for a comedy show at Hyena’s Comedy Night Club or Four Day Weekend, watch pianists compete at Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar or listen to live jazz musicians at Scat Jazz Lounge.

DAY TWO

Start your second day off with breakfast at Pearl Snap Kolaches for a variety of kolaches, breakfast sandwiches and tacos. Go wild at the Fort Worth Zoo or get in touch with nature at the Botanic Garden’s 23 specialty gardens. Just a short walk from the Botanic Garden is Fort Worth’s Cultural District, home to five world-class museums designed by renowned architects lining the park-like setting.

Head to Fort Worth’s Near Southside district, a casual, creative community hub for live music venues, breweries, wine bars, galleries and plenty of artistic endeavors. Walk along Magnolia Ave and stop at Heim Barbecue for lunch, or Lili’s Bistro for eclectic eats in a cozy setting. After, grab a coffee at Cherry Coffee Shop or a cupcake at Stir Crazy Baked Goods.

Next, head to the Foundry District, where you can feed the ‘gram with a dozen Fort Worth-centric murals and street art. Make a stop at Birdie’s Social Club to relax with an array of unique cocktails, good food and live music on a massive patio with pastel murals and picnic benches.

Find a variety of options for dinner downtown like Reata Restaurant, GRACE, Musume or Waters Restaurant. After, listen to live music under the Texas stars in Sundance Square Plaza, or grab an after-dinner drink in one of our rooftop bars like Refinery 714 or Branch & Bird.

Finish up your visit to Fort Worth at Billy Bob’s Texas, the world’s largest honky-tonk. Grab a partner and two-step to some of the best country & western music in the nation.
