There’s a lot to do in Fort Worth at night. Sometimes you don’t want the fun to end, or maybe you need to get a little food in you before you make the drive home. And we’re not just talking burgers and fries or pizza! Here are ten restaurants open past midnight.
1. Buffalo Bros
Buffalo Bros. is one of the few straight up pizza-and-wings places open late night. Go figure –– they’re located across from the TCU campus, and open until 2 a.m. every night. A second location in Sundance Square offers late night options downtown.
2. El Mil Tacos
El Mil Tacos is open until 4 a.m. on weekends. It’s nothing fancy (and you won’t get anything stronger than agua fresca) but the tortas and tacos are filling.
3. Hooker's Grill
Hooker’s Grill in the Fort Worth Stockyards offers burgers, dogs, and sides at their little walk-up until 2 a.m. on the weekends.
4. The Lazy Moose
The Lazy Moose, the Magnolia Ave. collaboration between restaurateurs David Shaw and Vance Martin, is open until 1 a.m. on weekends, and it’s a lovely place for a snack and a nightcap. Try the cherry Brie cheese or Martin’s locally legendary Gorgonzola fries.
5. Ol' South Pancake House
Ol’ South Pancake House is open 24/7. Because you never know when you’ll have a craving for a Dutch Baby or a German pancake.
6. Salsa Limon
Remember when you used to have to chase the Salsa Limon truck around town? Now there are several brick-and-mortar restaurant locations and three will sell you tacos past last call.
The Magnolia Ave. store (fondly nicknamed Maggie) is open until 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday; the downtown location, Centro, on Throckmorton is open until 3 a.m. on weekends; and the La Gran Plaza restaurant is open until 2 a.m. weekends.
7. Social House
The Social House is open until 2 a.m. Thursday through Sunday. The menu is diverse: pizza, chicken-fried steak, a grownup grilled cheese, salads and traditional pub appetizers offer literally something for everyone.
8. Twilite Lounge
Twilite Lounge serves their full menu until 2 a.m. daily. There are few things better than Po-Boy sandwiches and red beans and rice at late hours.
9. Velvet Taco
Velvet Taco’s the home to unusual version of the Tex-Mex standard: Indian and Mediterranean flavors mingle with the rotisserie chicken, flank steak and Cuban pork tacos. The 7th Street location is open until 3 a.m. Thursday nights and 4 a.m. on the weekends.
10. Zenna Restaurant
Open 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. daily, Zenna is a night owls dream come true. Sushi, sashimi and nigiri are staples served along with satay, spring rolls, dumplings and more. The menu is more than generous.
