This handsome and historic building – built in 1908 – is one of the architectural gems of the Fort Worth Stockyards. It was the site of the first-ever indoor rodeo, and it currently hosts the world’s only year-round rodeo, as well as other exciting events.
If you’re in town over the weekend, grab a seat at the Stockyards Championship Rodeo, held every Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m. You’ll see thrilling, authentic rodeo – bull riding, barrel racing, tie-down roping, bronc riding and more.
In addition, twice every Saturday (and some Sundays), you can see Pawnee Bill’s Wild West Show, a historic re-enactment of the original show that toured the world almost a century ago. The show features trick roping, trick shooting, trick riding, cowboy songs. Great family fun with livestock, spectacular performers, ropes, bullwhips, pistols and even a singing cowboy!
