Rules and Eligibility:
- Premiere packages are for projects that qualify for the Academy Awards narrative short, documentary short or animated short film programs
- Short films must have a run time of 40 minutes or less, including credits
- Applicants must provide a private screening link for review by our selection committee. Filmmakers will be notified about award status by August 3, 2026
- When applicable, screenings should be promoted on filmmaker or project social media channels with @ filmfortworth tagged
- Only one package will be provided per project. Above-the-line crew may only receive one FWFC screening package per year
- Applications will be reviewed on a first-come first-served basis. Four premiere packages will be awarded per year.
