Behind the Scenes with The Herd
What:
Experience life on the trail first-hand during the Fort Worth Herd Behind the Scenes with The Herd every Saturday and Sunday, Memorial Day through Labor Day, in the Stockyards National Historic District. This free, interactive program allows adults and children a hands-on experience with equipment used during the Cattle Drive Era. Activities include: saddling, roping, chuck wagon stories and cattle drive demos.
Where:
Behind the Scenes with The Herd is held directly behind the Fort Worth Livestock Exchange Building located at 131 E. Exchange Avenue in the Stockyards National Historic District. Enter under the Fort Worth Herd sign. (graphic of sign)
When:
Saturdays and Sundays, Memorial Day through Labor Day at 1:30-2:30 PM Come and go as you please.
Donations greatly appreciated - no registration required.
