Now that the temps are (finally) lower, we’re looking forward to comfort foods to keep us going during the cooler months. What better food to bring in the fall season than a hearty and heart-warming soup?

Find a cozy table and order up a bowl of soup at these Fort Worth restaurants.

Tortilla Soup at Joe T. Garcia’s

If their margaritas kept you cool during the summer, this tortilla soup at the legendary Fort Worth eatery will keep you warm in the winter.

Thai Coconut Soup at Malai Kitchen

With an entire section of their menu dedicated to soups, Malai Kitchen won’t let you down with its various Vietnamese and Thai soups, complete with warm spices and flavors that are sure to satisfy.

Squash Soup at iL Modo

The Squash Soup at iL Modo will make you forget the cold. With apple compote and spiced creme fraiche, it's the perfect companion to a classic Italian dinner all fall and winter long.

Kapusta Soup at Riscky’s Barbecue

Served up since 1920, this sauerkraut soup originally from Poland will have your taste buds dancing.

Gumbo at Turkey Den

Strut over to Turkey Den for their incredible gumbo. The place might be known for its turkey legs, but the gumbo is a deviation well worth a try.

Soup of the Day at 3rd Street Market

The bakery downtown changes its menu daily, but their soups are always a great choice for lunch. Recent soups on the menu were the God Forbid Chili and Caldo de Verdura, a Mexican vegetable soup. Their homemade sourdough makes for great dipping.

Lobster Bisque at Lucille’s

A classic soup at a classic Fort Worth establishment. This creamy soup is a Lucille’s staple, along with a soup of the day that could be anything from tortilla soup to split pea & ham.

Chili at Angelo’s BBQ

They only serve their chili in season, so head over to the long-standing Angelo’s to get it while it’s available. It’s perfect as a meal or as a side to a tray of barbecue.

French Onion Soup at Rise Soufflé

The French café is known for its soufflé, but their French onion soup is as traditional as it gets. Packed with onions, croutons and cheese, it’s a great way to warm up before or after a day of shopping at Clearfork.
