FORT WORTH CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU NAMES NEW
DIRECTOR OF SALES - MID-ATLANTIC REGION
Stacey D. Johnson Joined FWCVB in July 2015
 

FORT WORTH, Texas (August 5, 2015) - The Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau (FWCVB) has announced Stacey D. Johnson, CSAE, as the new Director of Sales - Mid-Atlantic Region. Johnson began her new position on July 20, 2015.

Johnson was previously the Director of Group Sales for the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel and served Marriott International, Inc. in a variety of roles for the past 19 years. Notably, Johnson spearheaded Marriott's emerging market group business sector as Director of Multicultural Sales Strategy until 2007. During this time Johnson developed corporate partnerships agreements, strategies to grow market share, and increased group sales revenue from $17 million to $62 million from 2001-2007. In addition, she has worked in remote capacities for the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority and NYC & Co. A graduate of Howard University, Johnson is a member of several industry organizations such as: Association of Meeting Professionals, Professional Convention Management Association, Meeting Professionals International, National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners and Hispanic Meeting Professionals.

As Director of Sales - Mid-Atlantic Region, Johnson will represent the FWCVB in the greater Washington, D.C. area, responsible for booking city-wide and in-house meetings.
