When you need a break from your home office or need to send a few emails during your Fort Worth getaway, we know a place (or eleven). Check out these great spots to get some work done while still experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

Cherry Coffee Shop

Cherry Coffee Shop on Magnolia Ave. is a great place to stay a while. The calming and lovely vibes and their selection of coffees, beverages and pastries will keep you satisfied and caffeinated for hours.

Casa Azul Coffee

The Northside café is all about community and culture. Near the Stockyards historic district, it’s easy to stop in for an iced Churro Latte or Matcha-Colada. The easy-going ambience will make you want to stay all day.

Kimbell Café

At the center of the Kimbell Art Museum is the Kimbell Café, a cozy spot amidst the world-renowned museum’s artwork. Grab a table on the small, quiet patio and enjoy a cup of your favorite beverage, as well as a selection of soups, sandwiches and quiche.

Yolk in Sundance Square

With unique dishes and excellent service, Yolk in Sundance Square is a great place to open up your laptop while indulging on a fantastic breakfast. Treat yourself with a Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Latte or Confetti Cupcake Latte to go with your meal.

Ampersand

This community driven coffee shop lives something of a double life. Coffee shop by day, bar by night, it’s a fun place to work (or not) any time of the day. Sip on a snickerdoodle latte or banana milk matcha while you type away. And when it’s time to slam the laptop shut, stick around for a cocktail like their espresso martini.

Black Coffee

Black Coffee is not just an award-winning coffee shop in East Fort Worth. Okay, yes, it is a place for people who love an incredible cup of coffee. But it’s also a gathering space and a hub for eastside culture. Try their creatively crafted seasonal drinks with unique ingredients like lavender, turmeric and sweet potato alongside coffee shop classics like lattes and Americanos. Colorful murals by local artists on the interior and exterior add a creative touch to the sunlit space.

Press Café

Nestled next to the Trailhead of the Trinity Trails is Press Café, as great a place for brunch on the weekends as it is for a cool place to take your work or a book. They open at 7am every day, offer great coffee and beverages and a menu that is modern yet casual, with breakfast options, salads, sandwiches and more. The outdoor patio has fireplaces, cozy chairs and views of the trail.

Sons Coffee

If you’re downtown and need a break from the hustle and bustle, head to Sons Coffee. With lots of tables, sofas and strong coffee roasted daily, it’s the perfect spot to perk up and get some work done.

Roots Coffeehouse

Be a part of the community at Roots Coffeehouse. They brew craft coffee and have special menus throughout the year.

Race Street Coffee

This quaint coffee shop in the Riverside neighborhood brews delicious coffee and seasonal specials, offers toasts and other light bites, and hosts fun events like Hobby Hour, Art Nights and pop ups. It’s an intimate space that’ll make you feel right at home.

Bowie House Hotel

The Bowie House Hotel’s lobby bar might be an unconventional recommendation, but their library room feels like it was made for the remote workers among us. With its cozy couches and chairs, incredible artwork and a top-notch bar making drinks, it might be tough to leave when the workday is done.
