Fort Worth’s oldest event announces perks for international visitors attending in 2017
FORT WORTH, Texas (October 24, 2016)—The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo (FWSSR) has officially announced its international visitor amenities for the 2017 season, January 13 – February 4. The FWSSR provides visitors a look in to the city’s rich western heritage and culture through nightly rodeos, superior livestock exhibitions and world-class entertainment.
More than 1,500 international guests representing 94 countries are expected to attend this year. The Stock Show recognizes these visitors by offering free access to the “international suite” in the center of the Stock Show facility and near all the exciting activities.
International guests will be issued credentials allowing access to all livestock shows, sales and special grounds events. Rodeo performances are not included and tickets must be purchased online or in person through the Rodeo Ticket Office beginning November 28 or by calling 1-817 877-2420.
“Fort Worth is the City of Cowboys and Culture, and we highlight the cowboy experience each January and February,” said Stock Show President, Brad Barnes. “We want our international guests to feel at home. We strive to make their visit to the Stock Show unforgettable.”
If traveling with a group of 25 or more, visitors may purchase a block of rodeo tickets for certain PRCA rodeos through the Group Discount Ticket Program. A Stock Show Experience Program is also available for groups of 100 or more with catered meals in private meeting spaces, live entertainment and superior balcony seating for the World’s Original Indoor Rodeo®. The Coors Light Roadhouse features live music acts Tuesday through Saturday nights.

All FWSSR attendees will receive free admission to the two museums located adjacent to the Stock Show grounds: the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
