Visit Fort Worth 2023 Annual Meeting

A decade of celebrating tourism, hospitality & creativity
Fort Worth, Texas (October 11, 2022) – Visit Fort Worth announced today its 10th annual meeting will be held Friday, February 17 at 7:30 a.m. at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
Each year Visit Fort Worth brings the tourism, business, sports, hospitality and creative industries together to celebrate growth, collaboration and community. Annual reporting such as economic impact for visitors, sports and film are shared along with visitation numbers and local visitor spend.
“We like to think of our annual meeting as a pep rally for the city,” said Mitch Whitten, COO of Visit Fort Worth. “We are thrilled to bring the community together for the tenth year in a row and share the surprises in store...”
The 2023 theme will be announced in late fall and will encompass the spirit of what makes Fort Worth different from other U.S. cities. The 2022 theme was What’s Next.
The keynote speaker and Hospitality Award honoree will also be announced later this fall. Past keynote speakers include: hotelier Liz Lambert, legendary music producer, T-Bone Burnett and Hot Ones host Sean Evans, to name a few.
Each year a Visit Fort Worth Hospitality Award is given to honor a person, company or organization that has made significant contributions to developing, marketing and delivering visitor experiences for Fort Worth’s travel, tourism and hospitality industry. Past recipients include Stockyards Heritage, Museums of the Cultural District, the Fort Worth Zoo, DFW Airport, Holt Hickman, Leon Bridges, former Mayor Betsy Price and activist Ms. Opal Lee. The 2023 Hospitality Award is presented by Bennett Partners.
A call for Beyond Award nominations will be released after Thanksgiving. Visit Fort Worth invites employers in the hospitality, restaurant and tourism industries to nominate an outstanding employee for their incredible service and commitment. The 2023 Beyond Award is presented by Bank of Texas.
