What do you love about living and working in Fort Worth?

Fort Worth is a city that beautifully blends its rich history with a vibrant and growing modern culture. I love how the city embraces its diverse community, offering a dynamic environment that is both welcoming and full of opportunities. Working here allows me to be part of a thriving film industry while staying connected to the close-knit community that Fort Worth is known for. The city’s spirit of collaboration and support makes it an ideal place to live and work, providing endless opportunities for growth and innovation.

How do you celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month?

Hispanic Heritage Month is a time for me to reconnect with my roots and celebrate the rich cultural traditions passed down through generations. I enjoy attending local events that highlight Latino art, music and cuisine, and I take this opportunity to share these traditions with friends and colleagues. It’s also a time for reflection on the contributions of Latino leaders and how we can continue to support and uplift our community. I make it a point to engage with community initiatives and support local Latino-owned businesses during this month as a way of giving back.

Where do you take family/friends visiting Fort Worth?

One of my favorite activities when family and friends visit Fort Worth is enjoying live music and dancing at Sundance Square. We love visiting the Stockyards to watch the best cowboys in the nation compete at the Stockyards Championship Rodeo at Cowtown Coliseum. We often visit the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and the Kimbell Art Museum to appreciate the natural beauty and cultural offerings of the city. The Fort Worth Zoo and a tour of the Modern Art Museum also make the list for showcasing the city’s diverse attractions.

How has Fort Worth's Latino culture and heritage impacted you or your business?

Fort Worth’s Latino culture has been a significant influence on my personal and professional life. It’s a source of pride and inspiration, reminding me of the strength and resilience of our community. In my work, this cultural heritage informs my approach to collaboration and leadership, emphasizing the importance of community, respect, and mutual support. It also motivates me to contribute positively to the industry and to create opportunities for others in the Latino community. The vibrant Latino culture here enriches my life daily and encourages me to continue building bridges between the community and the industries I work in.

What advice would you give to Latino entrepreneurs and professionals who are just starting out?

My advice to Latino entrepreneurs and professionals is to stay true to your heritage and values. Your unique perspective is your strength, and it’s what sets you apart in any field. Don’t be afraid to take risks and pursue your passions with determination. Build a strong network of mentors and peers who can offer guidance and support along the way. Most importantly, believe in yourself and the impact you can make—our community is filled with potential, and each of us has a role to play in its continued success. Leverage your cultural background to inform your business practices and connect with your audience on a deeper level.
