THE POST AT RIVER EAST

The Post at River East offers an open-air dining experience and well-curated live music. The Riverside restaurant, bar and music venue is strictly following social distancing guidelines, so reservations are highly recommended. Local Tex-Mex troubadours Squeezebox Bandits launched a Wednesday evening concert series (6-9 p.m.) that runs through June.

There are several great local acts performing throughout June, including Americana singer-songwriter Adam Hood on June 11, Folk-Americana songsmith Slaid Cleaves and songwriter Drew Kennedy June 26.

LOLA’S TRAILER PARK

Lola’s Trailer Park, the outdoor music venue adjacent to Lola’s Saloon, just announced its reopening plans. There will only be outdoor seating available with tables limited to groups of six. Bartenders will come to the tables so there’s no waiting in line. Indoor entry at nearby Lola’s Saloon is for bathroom use only. Hand sanitizers and hand-washing stations will be located throughout the venue.

Lola’s Trailer has three events scheduled so far. On June 14, locally-grown produce vendors, food trucks, face paintings and live music will help kick off Lola’s Local Farmers Market.

Strangefest 3 honors late local musician Dillon Strange. On June 14, the fundraising event will feature a hot dog eating contest and several bands. Just Encased Food Truck will have craft sausages available.

Lola’s Rock n Roll Rummage Sale returns June 28 with 50 vendors selling everything from art pieces and antiques to books and records. The family-friendly, pet-friendly (with leash) event will also have food trucks, beverages from the bar, live music and face-painting.
