Tchaikovsky’s brooding Sixth Symphony (The Pathétique) is an exploration of the inner life and thoughts of the composer. The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra opens the fall season with the powerful work alongside Berlioz’s exhilarating Roman Carnival Overture and Sibelious’ enchanting Violin Concerto in D Minor.

Million Dollar Quartet

An Evening of Singers and Songwriters Showcase at The Cicada

Quartet Building Blocks
The Balourdet Quartet, acclaimed for delivering both emotionally intense and intimate performances on international stages, performs in Fort Worth as part of our local chamber music society’s annual series. The quartet recently won the 2024 Avery Fisher Career Grant and Chamber Music America’s 2024 Cleveland Quartet Award. The quartet will perform works by Haydn, Bartók and Smetana.

Cliburn Concerts Presents Joyce Yang
Joyce Yang gained international attention in 2005 when she won the Cliburn silver medal at the age of 19. Yang has performed over 1,000 concerts worldwide, collaborating with prestigious orchestras and earning a Grammy nomination. This fall, she returns to Fort Worth to open the season with performances of Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and Mussorgsky.

Bidi Bidi Banda with Special Guest Los Navaira
Relive the greatness of the Queen of Tejano Music as Austin’s Selena tribute band (boasting notable Latin music performers) takes the Tulips FTW stage. Bidi Bidi Banda was founded by Stephanie Bergara, who grew up listening to Tejano radio as a child. The concert featuring special guest Los Navaira promises a memorable evening of classic and newer Tejano hits.

Elle King Performs at Billy Bob’s Texas
