JANUARY 10

Matt Kirk and the Güeyfarers Perform at Tulips FTW

Tulips FTW hosts Matt Kirk and the Güeyfarers (pronounced Wayfarers) for a night of Texas-rooted Americana with special guest BARTLY. Drawing from the musical traditions of the Texas Hill Country, the Güeyfarers blend blues, folk, rock, and country into what they call “Texacana.” Led by Matt Kirk’s expressive vocals and multi-instrumental playing, the band delivers a live show shaped by years of monthly performances at Gruene Hall and appearances across Texas and the Southwest. 

 

JANUARY 16

The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Presents Wild West Rodeo

Wild West Rodeo is a fitting tribute to the city “Where the West Begins.” The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra heads west with iconic film scores like John Williams’ rousing Overture to The Cowboys, Elmer Bernstein’s The Magnificent Seven, and Ennio Morricone’s unforgettable The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The program also features classic Western-inspired favorites, including Copland’s “Hoe-Down” from Rodeo. Striking images of Western art from the Sid Richardson Museum will be projected during the performance, bringing the music, landscapes, and spirit of the American West vividly to life.

 

JANUARY 22

The Prince Experience at Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall

Later this month, The Prince Experience brings a high-energy tribute to one of music’s most iconic artists to Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall. This celebration of Prince delivers the hits, the style, and the funk, with crowd favorites like “Raspberry Beret,” “Purple Rain,” and more scheduled for the show. Expect sharp musicianship, electric stage presence, and a night designed to keep the dance floor moving at one of Fort Worth’s premier live performance halls. 

 

JANUARY 23 

Casa Mañana Presents the Wizard of Oz

Follow the Yellow Brick Road to an amazing musical performance when The Wizard of Oz comes to Casa Mañana. After a tornado whisks Dorothy and her loyal dog Toto to the magical land of Oz, she sets off on a journey to find her way home, joined by the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion. Featuring unforgettable songs like “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” this classic musical brings a timeless story of friendship, courage, and heart to life. A favorite for all ages, The Wizard of Oz runs through February 15.

 

JANUARY 23-24

Colter Wall Performs at Will Rogers Auditorium

Colter Wall blends country, Western styles, and folk into an Americana sound that is all his own. His distinctive baritone and stripped-down music make for powerful storytelling. Special guest Hayden Redwine joins him for these Fort Worth dates, adding extra energy and rising-star allure to the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo’s new Auditorium Entertainment Series.

Pat Green Performs at Billy Bob’s Texas

Texas country fans won’t want to miss Pat Green’s January performance at Billy Bob’s Texas. Green has spent decades shaping the sound of Texas music. His live shows pull from a deep catalog of fan favorites, from radio staples to songs that capture everyday Texas life with honesty and heart. With multiple charting albums, millions of records sold, and a reputation for unforgettable performances, Green brings a distinct energy to the stage. His 2022 album, Miles and Miles of You, and his new live album show that Green continues to evolve while staying close to his roots.
