Free Live Plaza Music Each Weekend
As the sun sets, the weekend streets of Sundance Square come alive with melodies. Every Thursday through Sunday evening, Sundance Square Plaza transforms into a stage for live music, showcasing a myriad of talents and genres. Performer calendars are posted each Thursday.

Bass Performance Hall
Bass Performance Hall is the permanent home to the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Texas Ballet Theater, Fort Worth Opera, the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and Cliburn Concerts. Bass Hall also presents national Broadway touring productions in the series “Broadway at the Bass.” The 2023-2024 Broadway lineup includes Disney’s Aladdin, TINA – The Tina Turner Musical, Chicago, Hamilton and Mamma Mia!
It's not just the incredible performances of Bass Performance Hall that will take your breath away. The façade stops visitors in their tracks, with two 48-foot-tall angels sculpted from Texas limestone by Marton Varo. The lobby boasts marble flooring, high ceilings and windows that let in the bright Texas sun. The Hall is renowned for its perfect acoustics, exceptional sight lines and ambience on level with the great halls of the world.
Scat Jazz Lounge
Set in the basement of the historic Woolworth building, Scat Jazz Lounge is reminiscent of New York underground clubs. It is dark, swanky, cozy and intimate, providing guests with an escape from the street noise and some of the best music in the city. The rich wood accents, art deco features and red curtain only add to the enjoyment of a superb cocktail and a great band. Scat Jazz hosts one of Fort Worth’s longest running weekly shows where you never quite know who is going to show up.
Flying Saucer Draught Emporium
This fun and interactive spot features trivia night, yummy eats and an expansive selection of draft and bottled beer. Soak up the downtown lights on their massive beer garden patio, often included in lists for Fort Worth’s best patios, where local musicians play sets to the background of downtown action.
