Visit Fort Worth recently hosted the Texas Society of Association Executives in Fort Worth for their 2023 New Ideas Conference. It was a great convention that brought association executives from all over the state to Fort Worth to network, learn and discover the new and unique offerings of the Unexpected City.

Visit Fort Worth hosted a welcome party at Second Rodeo Brewing in Mule Alley as well as excursions throughout the city. At these events, Fort Worth musicians and artists showcased the incredible talent in our city. Guests were blown away by the music, the food and the venues. We were thrilled to have these amazing Fort Worth artists join us. Be sure to check them out!

Andrew Sullivan

The singer/songwriter and TCU grad draws inspiration from both country and pop artists like George Strait and Ben Rector. Since 2010, he has been writing music and performing full-time around the country, but still calls Fort Worth home. With beautifully crafted songs and acoustic sounds that entertain as well as emotionally affect, Andrew’s performances are personable and uplifting. He has collaborated with local hip hop hero Lou CharLe$, released four studio albums and focuses heavily on performing in smaller venues and private events.

Mel Garsek

The 13-year-old musician, songwriter and guitarist performed at the 2023 Stock Show & Rodeo and regularly plays in venues across DFW. While he mostly plays in small venues, he showcases his talent and fresh takes on classic songs to eager audiences. Mel’s promise and talent are just one of the reasons audiences across the region love to listen to his thoughtful and entertaining music.

Bubba Bellin

Bubba Bellin isn’t your typical Red Dirt/Americana songwriter. He takes the steel guitar of 70’s Waylon, the dynamic vocals of 90’s R&B and the lyrical storytelling of a great country song and presses it into a Bubba stamped record. His new single “New Man” reflects his depth as an artist, writing, singing, co-producing and playing all guitar and pedal steel parts. He collaborated with local R&B singer Eve Rosja’ Wooten for “Open Harbor,” a single that has been described as Cowtown-meets-Motown.

Lorena Leigh

Lorena Leigh is a Fort Worth-based singer/songwriter known for her catchy hooks, lyrical stories and electrified, pedal-popped ukulele melodies. Lorena released her debut LP, Water Theory, in the fall of 2019, and shows hints of Ellie Goulding, Nelly Furtado, Kacey Musgraves and Jenny Lewis. Her performances have garnered a grassroots following that love her determination, soulful nature and ‘cowgirl mermaid’ vibes.

Armond Vance

Armond Vance began his musical endeavors at the age of 12 after being inspired by a violinist he saw on YouTube playing a hip-hop tune on the violin. The violin and piano player’s music can best be described as a cross-pollination between classical, hip-hop, R&B and soul. Through his emotional, passionate and dynamic performances, Armond seeks to touch the souls of listeners by decorating time with colorful sonorities.

Joseph Neville

Singer/songwriter Joseph Neville hopes to connect with audiences through honest songwriting and folk inspired by guitar playing. Lovingly labeled “sad guitar music,” this performer highlights the comedy surrounding some of life’s heartache through clever storytelling and banter. Joseph has performed in theaters, clubs, bars and living rooms all around the country and beyond but continues to call Fort Worth home.
