Dr. Lisa Langston

FWISD Director of Athletics

Filmmaker: Beastman Productions

Lisa Langston began her career long before she worked for Fort Worth Independent School District. As a basketball player and track runner at Texas A&M, Lisa understood first-hand the impact of sports on a student. After playing three years of professional basketball in Europe, she began her career at Fort Worth ISD to become the kind of mentor that she valued when she was playing. As the first Black female director for Fort Worth ISD, Lisa is eager to mentor the next generation of athletic professionals and help them blaze a trail all their own.
