The Cowtown Birthplace of Western Swing - is planning our inaugural 2020 CBWS Festival at Fort Worth's Historic National Hall on Nov 11, 12, and 13, 2021. We will be celebrating the 91st Anniversary of the birth of Western Swing here in Cowtown with a fabulous lineup of 9 live bands over the 3-day music festival. This wonderful dance music was created in 1930 when Bob Wills, Milton Brown and their Light Crust Doughboys uniquely fused frontier fiddle with jazz, blues, polka and mariachi to launch what would eventually become the Official State Music of Texas. Join us for historic and culturally important event and wonderful dance music in one of Texas' finest dancehalls.
