Things To Do This Holiday Season
Christmas in the Stockyards
The Fort Worth Stockyards are an iconic part of the city’s history and culture, so it’s not surprising that this exciting district hosts one of Fort Worth’s best Christmas events. Now in its 24th year, Christmas in the Stockyards includes activities appropriate for all ages like ice skating, “Cowboy Santa” photos, outdoor games, a matinee rodeo and even a bull fighting championship.
Clearfork Holiday Market
Holiday shopping with a local and artisanal twist can be found at Clearfork Holiday Market, a Christmas market in Fort Worth that launches in early December. The Shops at Clearfork regularly hosts a farmers' market on its grounds. In addition to the usual food and craft vendors who show up weekly, the Holiday Market will add over 50 artisanal vendors selling gifts, decorations and treats all geared toward end-of-year festivities. Also, the Clearfork Holiday Market will host holiday photo backdrops, the chance to take a picture with Santa, live music and other fun on-theme activities.
