PARKING IN FORT WORTH
There are plenty of places to park for free in Fort Worth. Check out the information below:
Downtown Fort Worth
All parking meters are free after 6 p.m. on weekdays, and all day on weekends. Additionally, Fort Worth’s Downtown TIF District provides free self-parking in select garages after 6 p.m. on weekdays and all weekend long. Sundance Square
There are plenty of parking options in Sundance Square.
- Monday - Friday (7 a.m. to 6 p.m. ) there is 2.5 hours of complimentary validated self-parking for customers of Sundance Square tenants. The complimentary self-parking is in Sundance Square Garages #3 (345 W 3rd Street) and #4 (entrances off 5th and 6th Streets). A sales receipt or business card is required for validation.
- Also, there is free self-parking after 6 p.m. on weekdays and all weekend long in Sundance Square Garage #3 (345 W 3rd Street) as part of the Downtown TIF District parking program.
- Sundance Square also offers pay-for-use valet parking.
- Molly The Trolley - This route runs between the Fort Worth Convention Center and Sundance Square, and makes stops near downtown hotels, landmarks, restaurants, shops and entertainment venues. Molly runs every 10-15 minutes, 7 days a week, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Near Southside
If you’re headed to Fort Worth’s dynamic Southside, park for free in the Magnolia Green Garage at 1201 Alston Avenue. It offers 320 spaces on three levels.
Fort Worth Cultural District
Amon Carter Museum of American Art. Free parking for Amon Carter Museum visitors is available in the museum lot – east of the museum off Camp Bowie Boulevard. After 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday and on weekends, you can also park for free in the University of North Texas Health Science Center lot (on the northwest corner of Clifton Street and Camp Bowie Boulevard).
Kimbell Art Museum
Park for free at the Kimbell’s east entrance and underground parking garage (off Van Cliburn Way) and at the Darnell Street auditorium (across Van Cliburn Way from the museum).
Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth
Free surface parking is available in the Modern’s parking lot near the entrance.
Fort Worth Stockyards
In the Stockyards National Historic District free street parking is offered along East Exchange Avenue. Additional paid parking can be found in paid lots throughout the district.
