Blue Mesa Grill offers NYE Brunch packs to go for pick-up New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day (allow 24 hours’ notice, please). The packs serve six for $130, and they’re full of food favorites from Blue Mesa’s brunch including migas, French toast bread pudding with cajeta, cheese enchiladas and corncake – along with a bottle of sparkling wine and OJ. If you’d rather, you can go to Blue Mesa and grab brunch New Year’s Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The in-restaurant brunch adds the carving stations for brisket, salmon and ham along with Belgian waffles and other goodies for $28 for adults, $7 for kids ages 6-11.

Grand Cru Holiday Cheeseboard Cheer runs now through New Year’s Eve day. Get a terrific cheeseboard paired with two glasses of wine from their 'By the Glass' wine list for $37. The cheer is guaranteed any time during their hours of operation, and it might make a great gift for the wine lover in your life.

La Onda brings out a multi-course meal, accompanied by wines from Alexander Vineyards. Seven sumptuous courses, along with a champagne toast, are yours for $250 per person. Register here.

Reata’s beautiful patios seem like a perfect way to bring in New Year’s Eve, and the prix fixe menus they’re presenting sound amazing. Pair a rib-eye, pan-seared sea bass or pistachio-crusted elk with your choice of appetizer, soup or salad, and dessert (prices vary by menu item choice).

Groove to the tunes of the '80s at Fort Brewery & Pizza as a lineup of local and national recording artists ring in the new year with all the 80's rock hits. The kitchen will be open until 11:30 p.m. serving a special menu curated just for the event.

Kid-Friendly Events

Bowlounge is open until 2 a.m. on New Year’s Eve (ages 21 and up after 8 p.m.). You can eat, drink and hit a strike or a spare. Call or book online to reserve space for parties of 10 or more.

Pinstripes knows that NYE with the kids can be a bit of a challenge, so they have two balloon drops: The traditional one at midnight, and a balloon drop at 8 p.m. for the kids to toast with sparkling cider (adults have the option of sparkling wine). The bistro’s full dinner menu will be available, and live music will serenade guests until midnight.

Zoo Year’s Eve is the wildest place for kids to be on New Year’s Eve. The overnight experience at the award-winning zoo includes pizza, a movie, zoo-themed crafts and a night hike. Plus, continental breakfast the next morning. Zoo members get a 10% discount on the $85 per child ticket price.

If you aren't up for a late-night celebration to ring in 2022, this one's for you. Put on those sparkles and head to the Fort Worth Museum of Science & History from 10 a.m. to noon for Noon Year's Eve featuring a special event about global traditions, resolutions, and DIY crafts.


Live Music & Nightlife

Journey back to the 90s with classic country singer Tracy Lawrence at Billy Bob’s main stage at 10 p.m. Tickets run $26-$81. Keep the party going at Second Rodeo Brewing in Mule Alley.

Swing into the new year at Bass Performance Hall for "Swing is a Thing" featuring four world-champion swing dancers alongside the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. Ticket prices start at $39.

At Dickie’s Arena, catch Austin-area singer-songwriter Parker McCollum. Ticket prices vary and are available on Ticketmaster. 

Hip Hop Unity Concert brings national and emerging DFW hip hop artists to the Five Star Venue. Tickets are $15 in advance, $25 at the door with VIP tickets at $50.

Pete’s Piano Bar promises one-of-a-kind fun with four piano players, party favors and bubbly. General admission is $25; reserved seating starts at $50.

The Squeezebox Bandits featuring Matt Hillyer will perform at The Post at River East on NYE. Tickets are only available online and include a champagne toast and black-eyed peas at midnight. Tickets are $25-$120.

Ridglea Metalfest features 12 metal bands on two stages, starting at 5 p.m. Tickets are $25-50.

At Tulips, White Denim and the Ottoman Turks perform. Tickets are $30-$125.

Consider attending the Diva Royale Drag Queen Show, because everyone needs to start 2022 with a little glamor and sparkle. Tickets start at $30; $60 if you want a three-course dinner, and VIP seating starts at $55.

Dream NYE at the Landmark, NYE Grand Finale at the Warehouse, The Urban Cowboy Saloon, Texas RepublicVarsity Tavern and The Yard all have something to offer various audiences. Hotels Packages

The AC Hotel brings you A New Year in Hollywood, where the 16th-floor ballroom will be transformed into Hollywood’s iconic Brown Derby restaurant. Choose from dining packages paired with a champagne toast and party favors. The Worthington Hotel is offering a lovely package that includes a bottle of prosecco, a bottomless brunch at Toro Toro on New Year’s Day and late checkout. 

New Year's Eve at The Sinclair includes dinner for two at Wicked Butcher, a bottle of champagne upon check-in, and a late check-out at noon. Call the hotel to book.

Lot 12, the rooftop bar at the Hyatt Place TCU, will offer live music from 7 -10 p.m. DJ 10 p.m. -1 a.m. along with complimentary champagne toast and tequila tasting featuring a sparkling margarita.

Events with a Twist

Billy Bob’s Texas hosts the Lone Star Murder Mystery and Dinner Show at 7 p.m. Tickets are $99.
