With shows that include a new MASSive Karaoke series, Main at South Side (MASS) isn’t slowing down in December. Mid-month will see Texas indie songwriter Eloy Gonzalez join Americana troubadour Dakota Smith for an evening of roots music



Sixth Annual Funkytown Gitdown at Tulips FTW

Since 2016, the annual Funkytown Gitdown has raised funds to send young Fort Worthians abroad. The lofty goal of making worldlier local citizens is possible due to annual fundraisers that center on ticketed live music and auctions. The sixth iteration of this charitable event will be held mid-December at Tulips FTW. Music acts include Songbird Jones, Peter More and Lost Art Legacy.



Texas Ballet Theater Presents the Nutcracker

After an online-only Nutracker experience last year, Texas Ballet Theater is bringing that most magical of holiday stories to life at Bass Performance Hall throughout much of this month. This year’s The Nutcracker features the virtuosity of TBT’s resident artists and young students from TBT’s ballet schools. The Nutty Nutcracker, a satirical spoof of the classic ballet, runs December 17. 



Parker McCollum Performs at Dickies Arena

Fort Worth’s premier sporting arena and performance space is hosting a slew of athletic events and concerts through December. Singer-songwriter Parker McCollum closes out 2021 with a visit to Fort Worth as part of his national tour. Though known primarily as a country artist, Collum’s musical influences pull from blues, rock, soul and folk rock.
