Munich comes to Fort Worth! Oktoberfest is an annual beer festival in Munich, Germany and a pilgrimage for beer enthusiasts. But if you’re looking to celebrate closer to home, don your lederhosen or dirndl for the annual Fort Worth Oktoberfest and enjoy Germany’s hoppy export in the Unexpected City.*
This year’s festival promises to be one of the most fun weekends of the fall where you can drink das bier, eat sausage and polka all night long. Explore multiple gathering spaces like Spaten Halle, an air-conditioned Bierhalle, the Food Haus, Aktivität Tent and the Karbach Biergarten. Shop in the marktplatz for your new favorite beer stein or test your skills at stein hoisting and bier barrel rolling. Other exciting activities include Tapping of Zie Kegs, a Dachshund Dash, brat eating contests, carnival rides, games and more!
Traditional live music will play in tents throughout the weekend and will transport you to Deutschland. The lineup features Alex Meixner Band, Das Ist Lustig, Alpenmusikanten, Walburg Boys and the Happy Hour Oktoberfestband all the way from Bavaria!
So gather with your beer- and fun-loving friends and enjoy a weekend outdoors celebrating all things Oktoberfest.
*Lederhosen and dirndls not required, but highly encouraged!
