Patrick McGrew Jr.
Shoe Designer + Musician
Union Station, Sundance Square
Filmmaker: Mitch Johns and Aidan Myles with @doublevmedia
Patrick McGrew Jr. is a jack of many trades, master of all. The former Crowley High School P.E. teacher went through some ups and downs and came out on top. He’s a talented musician and rapper – who records under the name Junya – owner of the Union Station shop in Sundance Square, and head designer of Trvp Art Clothing. He’s been designing clothes since college and opened Union Station in March 2022.
The store offers a glimpse into McGrew’s personality, as he sells things that are of particular interest to him: vintage vinyl, artwork from Fort Worth painters, collectible skateboards and his own streetwear fashion from sweaters and hoodies to jeans and sneakers. They all boast his brand’s label, a robot arm. It’s an unexpected find in Sundance Square and it’s quintessentially Patrick, the talented young man who continues to make waves in creative industries throughout Fort Worth.
