Oktoberfest in Fort Worth 2025
Break out the lederhosen and get ready to raise a stein, Oktoberfest in Fort Worth returns to Trinity Park from September 25 to 27, 2025. Held every fall, this three-day celebration of German culture is all about food, music, and—of course—Fort Worth beer! Get ready for one of the most anticipated fall festivals in town.
What to Expect
Oktoberfest Fort Worth blends Bavarian tradition with Texas-sized energy. Things kick off with the Tapping of Zie Kegs, where you’ll want to hustle to the dance floor to snag a pour from the very first keg.
There’s live music all weekend from bands like the Alex Meixner Band, Das Ist Lustig, Alpenmusikanten, Walburg Boys, and the Happy Hour Oktoberfest Band, along with folk dancing performances, so get ready for lots of polka beats.
And then there’s the food. Enjoy bratwurst, schnitzel, pretzels, and strudel, and wash it down with a brew from Fort Worth favorites like Rahr & Sons Brewing Company.
The competitions are just as fun to watch as they are to join. Sign up for the stein hoisting or barrel rolling, or just head to the track for the Dachshund Dash to cheer on the pups in their tiny costumes. But whatever you do, don’t miss the Bier Wench Stein Carrying or brat-eating contests, they’re full of laughs.
Runners can sign up for the Oktoberfest 5K and Fun Run through Trinity Park. You’ll get a free 3-day pass to the festival, plus some fun race-day gear.
And before you leave, stop by the Marktplatz for handmade goods, sweet treats, and more from local artisans. If you're bringing the kids along, there’s plenty for them too. The carnival rides and games make it easy to keep them happy while you enjoy your brat and beer.
