Fort Worth Herd Drover Donald Lee, a Beaumont, Texas, native, has been a cowboy all of his life. He’s been a team member of the Herd’s for a little more than five years and enjoys riding and writing. An alumnus of Grambling State University in Grambling, La., with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, “Don” previously worked as a journalist at such newspapers as The Kansas City Star in Missouri; The Advocate, in Baton Rouge, La.; the Arlington Morning News; and the Dallas Weekly.
