Candle Pouring Class at The Worthy Co.  

The Worthy Co. is a non-profit in the Near Southside that has a candle studio, retail store and job training site. 100% of every purchase provides employment for survivors of trafficking. Learn how to pour your own custom candle in their candle studio where you’ll choose your vessel and scents to take home as a pretty souvenir. It’s a fun activity, and your contribution will go toward empowering women. A win-win! 


Hat Bar at Flea Style 

Head to the Flea Style Hat Bar to create a customized hat made just for you. You’ll first select your hat, then choose from a range of accessories, branding styles and sizes. Stylists will then assemble and finish your hat so you can wear it out of the store. Book a reservation. 


Learn the Glass Arts at SiNaCa Studios 

Experience the magic of creating glass. This non-profit hosts special events, is active in the community and offers experiences for beginning students and professionals alike. Their Open Studio Nights feature different artists and techniques that will blow you away. They also offer kits so you can create works of art at home. Learn a new technique at the art studio center on Camp Bowie Boulevard. They provide artists of all ability levels the chance to experience new art through tons of classes and events. Gin, Vodka or Bitters Workshop at Blackland Distillery 

This unique and immersive experience with Blackland’s master distiller will introduce you to the world of craft distilling. Craft your own gin, flavored vodka or bitters recipe in the class, and Blackland will distill your recipe within a week and fill bottles for you to take home.
