Visit Fort Worth marketed the city to future travelers under the Modern West brand, promoting the many experiences available to visitors across the city.

The largest promotion of the year took place at the SXSW international festival in Austin. More than 10,000 people visited the three-day Fort Worth showcase and ranked it one of their favorites among hundreds that take place during two weeks of events.

The Modern West showcase at SXSW included panels, podcasts and giveaways featuring talent and leaders from Fort Worth, including Mayor Mattie Parker and 1883 actor Eric Nelsen as well as Hotel Drover, PBR and more than a dozen music performers.
